Yunah Park
Concert Hauser Model 650 mm
Yunah Park began her musical journey at the age of 16 in her hometown of Seoul, where she first encountered the classical guitaran instrument that would soon become her lifelong companion. After completing her Bachelors degree in Korea, she moved to Spain to continue her studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Msica scar Espl in Alicante, where she earned a second Bachelors degree under the guidance of Nacho Rodes.
Following her formal performance training, Yunah Park relocated to Madrid to devote herself fully to guitar making. She undertook a traditional apprenticeship under Maestro ngel Benito Aguado, learning the craft from its foundations in the classical Spanish tradition. Her training began with an in-depth study of the great Spanish guitar makers of the early 20th century and progressed through instrument repair, the design of original plans and templates, and ultimately the construction of her own guitars.
The philosophy behind Yunah Parks instruments centers on achieving a full, far-reaching sound that meets the needs of todays performers while preserving the tonal colour and expressive depth of historic Spanish classical guitars. Her aim is to unite traditional warmth with modern playabilitycombining comfortable fingerboards, deep and supportive basses, and bright, flexible phrasing. She firmly believes that fidelity to traditional sound should not limit the exploration of new sonic possibilities, especially for performance in large concert halls.
