The Wampler Pinnacle Deluxe is Eddie Van Halens brown sound in a pedal. Great for getting high gain crunch out of your guitar. The difference between this and the normal pinnacle are making boost toggle into an additional footswitch and adding an internal control for more volume if needed. Controls include:Volume: the overall volume of the pedal.Gain: controls the amount of gain.Tone: adjusts the frequency emphasis on the highs. Interacts with the contour knob and VInt./Modern switch.Contour: Adjusts the overall frequency. Interacts with the tone knob and the Vint./Modern switch. Noon is balanced, clockwise is scooped, counterclockwise is very midrange-forward.Vint./Modern switch: Sets the overall voicing of the pedals frequencies. Vintage is darker and modern is brighter.Boost footswitch: alters the gain structure to have more drive and heavier distortion when engaged.The Wampler Pinnacle Deluxe is true bypass and can be powered by a standard 9 volt DC adaptor with 2.1mm negative center barrel.
