We have a very special limited edition reissue of the versatile Fender ’68 Custom Princeton Reverb, and this one is super cool in Surf Green!! Fender did a one-time run of these a few years back and we had it then – this amp was bought at Truetone and is now back again, ready for it’s next home.
This small, light and moderately powered tone machine is a longtime recording and gigging favorite. It’s also become a “go to” choice for players that like to put an array of pedals in front of their amp – Fender designed it specifically for that.
The Princeton Reverb received a fresh new face in 1968a silver-and-turquoise front panel with aluminum grille cloth trim, with tone, reverb and tremolo that was still pure Fender. The ’68 Custom Princeton Reverb also has modified tone circuitry for greater tonal flexibility with pedals and reduced negative feedback for greater touch sensitivity and quicker overdrive onset. This particular one comes with a player upgrade of a Celestion Greenback 1×10″ speaker that gives you even more mid-range bite than the stock speaker. It also comes with the striking and distinct Surf Green tolex.
This amp is excellent condition and comes with its original footswitch. Grab it before it’s gone.
