In 1963, Rogers Drums introduced the “Beavertail” style lugs on the Dyna-Sonic and Rogers’ drum kits. The new lug profile offered a durable, more substantial profile and structure and featured an attractive deco design. Combined with the floating frame snare system, the Rogers Beavertail Dyna-Sonic is still one of the more revered snare drums today.
