Pisgah 12″ Dobson Professional Short Scale 5-String Banjo New

This Dobson Professional is a new model from Pisgah and it has a 12-inch head and a short, 25.5″scale length. The banjo has a slotted headstock fitted with Gotoh tuning machines and it has a decorative laminated fretboard that accentuates the elegant curve of the S-scoop. This model has a maple shell fitted with a brass Dobson tone ring, a setup that produces a bit more punch and power than an all-wood rim that youll find on their Woodchucks and Possums. This example has a highly figured maple neck and shell and aged brass hardware. Includes a heavy duty, padded Pisgah gig bag.

The Pisgah crew looks out beyond the small world of banjos, using domestic hardwoods, making almost all of their own metal hardware, and taking good care of their workers and the planet (the Pisgah workshop is a net zero carbon 100% solar powered facility).
