Equipped with two Lollar Mini-Broilers, this guitar delivers chime, punch, and clarity in a lower registermaking it the perfect tool for players seeking a fresh sonic palette with familiar offset comfort.
Masterfully designed by the renowned Dennis Fano and built by the skilled team in Nashville, this Novo Serus J Baritone is in a class of its own.
Like the Serus P2, the Serus J features a comfortably contoured body, but adds a nod to the Jazzmaster with a Mastery bridge and vibrato for superb tuning stability and expression. Cloaked in an aged Maroon Burst finish with a tortoise pickguard, its visually striking and oozes vintage charm.
As a baritone, it boasts a 28″ scale length and comes strung with 1468 gauge strings, ideal for lower tunings with plenty of tension and clarity. The Lollar Mini-Broiler pickups are articulate and punchy, offering tight low-end definition and rich tonal character that complements the extended range.
Both the body and neck are temperedalso known as roasted or torrefiedenhancing the instrument’s resonance and giving it a naturally aged appearance. The result is a guitar with vintage soul, modern reliability, and inspiring playability.
