Not too long ago National introduced a new series, the National Reso-Phonic “Raw” guitars. These bare-bones resonators are hand waxed and have a minimal finish, available in both steel and brass. But don’t let the understated, raw looks fool you, these instruments are made with the same attention to detail as every other National. Designed for the musician who is looking for a raw & raspy sound and style.

This 12-fret steel model has an all brass body with “raw” finish, single cone resonator with biscuit bridge and chicken feet coverplate. The tinted maple neck has the familiar National V shape with a thick ebony fingerboard with pearl dot position markers, slotted headstock and 3-on-a-plate tuners. Includes deluxe National hardshell case.
