This Menzies Fretless Gourd Banjo #542 has a handcarved fretless mahogany neck with an S-shaped peghead, 5 nylon strings, and a Jamaican goatskin glued and tacked in place on a gourd with a side soundhole. Neck slopes to scoop at rim. It has carved Purple Heart pegs and tailpiece. All hand made by Jeff Menzies in Jamaica.
