The Martin D-17 brings a fresh voice to the Standard Series, blending vintage character with modern refinements for outstanding tone, comfort, and style. This 14-fret dreadnought features a solid mahogany body in a smooth satin finish, delivering the warm, woody resonance players love from a handcrafted Martin. New upgrades set this model apart, including a traditional compound dovetail neck joint and Sitka spruce Golden Era (GE) bracingborrowed from the Modern Deluxe Seriesfor a more open, vintage-inspired tone.

Playability gets a major boost with a slimmer fingerboard, softly beveled comfort edge, and silky smooth neck. The satin-finished select hardwood neck, ebony fingerboard, and GE modified low-oval profile create an easy, fast feel under the hands.
