Jody Jazz DV series mouthpieces are constructed using golden ratio proportioning to achieve a bigger fatter tone. Each mouthpiece is hand-finished and 24k gold plated to provide the most effortless playing experience possible.

FACING CURVE

The facing curve is CNC machined to ensure it is perfectly formed every time, resulting in no dead spots in the vibration of the reed.

SECONDARY WINDOW

The moving sound wave inside of the mouthpiece is now able to strike the vibrating reed above the bore of theJody Jazzmouthpiece instead of the mouthpiece material that is usually there. The effect is similar to a moving ball striking a moving bat.
