This is a Gibson Mastertone Banjo, in what looks to be a very rare ‘Blue Burst’ finish to the back and neck. Gibson has dated this instrument to be built in 1989. It’s in overall very good condition, with some play wear to the head, and lacquer cracks on the back of the resonator, and around the logo inlays. The original hardshell case with original Gibson warranty card is included.
