This is cool: beautiful reissue of the Les Paul Deluxe, seen a lot in the 70s and now better than ever!

After the “normal” Les Paul had already conquered the world in the 1950s and 1960s, Gibson launched a new version of their flagship in 1969 in the form of the Les Paul Deluxe. With this Les Paul ’70s Deluxe Gold Top reissue, the brand pays tribute to this cool guitar with its unique mini humbuckers. These pickups have the same advantage as traditional humbuckers – namely that they hum-buck, or remain noise-free – but thanks to the smaller size they sound lighter and offer a bit more clarity. The Deluxe Les Paul has the same kind of specifications as the first models from the 1970s. Consider, for example, a non-weight relief mahogany body, a mahogany neck with a beautiful binding and a Rounded C profile, Keystone tuners and Orange Drop capacitors in the tone circuit. And then we have not yet mentioned the Gold Top finish: what a beautiful picture.

Gibson Les Paul 70s Deluxe – Gold Top

First released in 1969, the Deluxe saw the introduction of the Mini Humbucker to the Les Paul lineup. Mini Humbuckers retain the hum-free performance of their full-sized cousins but with a somewhat clearer and brighter tonality. The new Deluxe has features that were inspired by those early models from the 1970s, with a non-weight relief mahogany body and bound maple top, a bound mahogany neck with a Rounded C profile, vintage-style Keystone tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and a traditional Les Paul control layout with 2 Volume and 2 Tone controls hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors.
