The 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard known as Greeny is one of the most storied instruments ever made, with a unique sound as recognizable as the guitar itself. Untold millions have heard its tone on stage or on studio recordings, played by a trio of famous owners: Fleetwood Mac founder Peter Green, Thin Lizzy guitarist and solo artist Gary Moore, and now Metallicas iconic lead guitarist Kirk Hammett.

This new core model will give players around the world the opportunity to experience some of the magic of “Greeny” for themselves. Built in our main craftory in Nashville, Tennessee, this guitar will feature a mahogany body and neck, a AAA figured maple top, and an Indian rosewood fingerboard. Though it does not come with Murphy Lab aging, its Greenybucker neck pickups reversed magnetic polarity bewitches this guitar with Greeny authenticity.
