This is a rare bird. 1955 (FON starts with W) J-45. Its not in original condition, but it sure is hell of a player! The mods we have identified include:
- Very old overspray on top of the guitar
- Pickup and pots has been installed and removed, then fixed
- The fretboard has block markers instead of regular dots
- The headstock has binding
Some of the mods might have been oredered from the factory as new, but due to lack of documentation, we cant be sure.
There has been some cracks in the body that has been fixes, and those are visible inside the guitar. Repairs have been done by a luthier. The neck angle is reasonable and guitar is fully playable. Slight fret wear, but nothing major.
