This is a rare 1981 Gibson Firebird II Artist CMT model with a sunburst finish, notably known for the same unique Moog electronics found in the Gibson RD Artist, which are still functioning perfectly! On top of the classic Gibson tones that can be coaxed from the humbuckers, the special electronics also provide a bright mode, treble and bass boosts, compression, and expansion. The guitar also sports chrome hardware, a TP6 tailpiece with tune-o-matic bridge, and 6-in-line tuners. It is in overall very good condition with some light markings around the body and buckle rash on the back, there are also two screws missing from the back plate. It includes a hardshell case.
