We took the slab mahogany body platform of the ’57 Special and juiced it up with a set of Custom Bucker pickups and trapezoid inlays like you would get on a Les Paul Standard. The result is a guitar that’s just the right amount of noticeable Gibson aesthetics without the flash of a maple top.
