This is a Music Zoo original – a Custom Shop Jazzmaster spec’d out with a Bare Knuckle Nailbomb in the bridge position and the classic tones of the Jazzmaster neck pickup preserved in the neck position with a Seymour Duncan Antiquity. We admit we won’t be the first to mod up a Jazzmaster like this, but the execution that masterbuilder Jason Smith put into making the guitar makes it one special instrument. The guitar has an alder body with a “C” shaped maple neck topped with a modern 9.5″ radius rosewood board, 21 frets, and a new Fender RSD Jazzmaster bridge. Finished off with a closet classic Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst finish, the guitar has some light relic wear to the body with lacquer checking and a bit of patina.
