This is an excellent Stratocaster masterbuilt by the very talented David Brown at the Fender Custom Shop; a ’60 Reissue with a Super Heavy Relic Fiesta Red over 3-Tone Sunburst. The guitar has a great feeling 11/56 off-center “V” profile to the plain grain maple neck topped with a flat lam rosewood board. There’s a trio of handwound El Diablo Strat pickups with a RW/RP middle pickup for hum-free tones in the 2 and 4 positions, as well as the Strat Blender control that lets you dial in some of the neck pickup even when the switch wouldn’t normally have it engaged. Versatility and looks all in one with this excellent Strat!
