The 2022 Steve Lukather L-III “Woody” spring edition BFR is loaded with a host of unique features and options, resulting in a highly collectible work of art that is sure to be the gem of any guitar collection. The Luke 3’s highlights start with a richly figured walnut burst maple burl top outlined with a thin ebony veneer and loaded into a warm and smooth-sounding Okoume body. The Okoume body’s backside is adorned with a distinctive and beautiful gold bronze-burst hi-gloss finish. This BFR is outfitted with a unique combination of rosewood neck with ebony fretboard and accented with white dot inlays and 22 nickel frets. The guitar comes with a black plated vintage-style tremolo bridge, rosewood headstock with laser-etched L-III logo, and Schaller locking tuners. The proprietary Ernie Ball Music Man dual humbucking pickups are custom wound to Lukather’s specifications and accented with gold pole pieces. The overall aesthetics package is highlighted by all-black hardware and Steve Lukather’s autographed tremolo cavity cover.
