D’Addario VENN Synthetic Alto Saxophone Reed

The new species of reeds from D’Addario were developed by the industry’s most revered engineers. VENN reeds signal the dawn of a new era in woodwind innovation. VENN combines the stability and longevity of a synthetic reed with the natural feel and sound of a traditional cane reed. In order to mimic the organic structure of cane, D’Addario reverse-engineered cane itself. The reed blank is made up of various layers of different strength polymer fibers with resin and organic reed elements. This results in VENN reeds being able out perform and outlast the competition all while sounding and playing like your favorite cane reed.
