This is a Charvel USA Jake E. Lee White Pearl So-Cal guitar, based on the guitar Jake played during the ’80s (most notably with Ozzy). The result of an extensive collaboration between Jake and the folks at Charvel, this guitar is based on the 1975 Fender Strat Jake played and then modified into the stunning white-with-black accoutrements guitar he’s associated with. Watch the attached video clip for a full explanation why and how his Strat came to be regarded as a Charvel. Meanwhile, the Jake E. Lee White Pearl features an ash body with quarter-sawn maple neck and rosewood fretboard (and matching white pearl headstock), a hard-tail bridge, and reverse-slanted DiMarzio SDS-1 single-coil neck and middle pickups with a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker at the bridge. Electronics consist of a 5-way pickup selector switch and a simple volume knob.
