The Martin Dreadnought Jr. offers the same geometric proportions of a standard dreadnought but scaled down to roughly 7/8s the size of the original, making one of the most formidable body shapes instantly playable. With this guitar, comfort is the name of the game, as the body shape is uniquely constructed to offer the ergonomics of a short-scaled acoustic, with the unmistakable sound of a larger Martin flat-top. While it doesnt have the same rumbling low end of a full-body dreadnought, the JR. does a great job at translating the dynamic, woody quality of a comparatively bigger instrument and delivers a powerful sound that punches way above its weight class. This guitar is a great choice for beginners looking for a forgiving playing experience, as well as seasoned guitarists looking for a compact instrument for travel that doesnt skimp on the sound.
Besides a notable ding located on the edge of the instrument (where the back meets the side), this instrument is in excellent cosmetic condition. Still only a few years old, it is obvious that the guitar was well-maintained by the previous owner. The frets show the faintest signs of wear but, fortunately, dont seem to have any divots or pits. Comes with the original Martin Gig Bag Included!
