1998 Fender Toronado

Introduced in the late 1990s as part of the modern Fender lineup, the Toronado offered a fresh take on the companys offset designs. This 1998 example comes from the first year of production and is part of the early Mexican made Deluxe series produced by Fender.

The guitar features a contoured offset body paired with a comfortable maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, delivering the familiar Fender playing feel in a slightly more contemporary format. Electronics consist of a pair of humbucking pickups with a simple control layout, providing a thicker, more powerful tone than the traditional Fender single coil models.

Hardware includes the models hardtail bridge and standard Fender appointments from the period. Locking tuners have been added, along with different control knobs, and the pickups have been upgraded to Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbuckers.

This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 2 year warranty.
