This American Standard Strat features a number of modern, player-friendly touches including a satin neck finish, 9 1/2 fretboard radius on the 22-fret fingerboard, Schaller tuning machines, a two-point vibrato, and a TBX Tone control.
Tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece maple neck, yielding a clear, balanced natural acoustic quality. The American Standard single coils feature alnico magnet construction, delivering plenty of Strat sparkle, spank and bell-like cut, with a distinct sound in each position on the five-way switch. The TBX Tone control further expands the tonal palette. From 1-5, the center detent TBX functions like a normal Tone knob, and from 5-10 it provides a treble/bass boost for added richness and sonic heft. The gloss Burgundy Mist finish has light pick wear on top, a bit of shallow buckle wear on the back, and a few dings and finish scratches, largely limited to the lower bout perimeter. Theres one finish chip beyond where the palm makes contact on the neck carve at the treble side of the nut, and a few shallow marks along the smooth satin finish on the neck.
The original Fender-branded molded hardshell case is included.
