Here’s a fun one – a player’s grade modded-out 1991 Jackson USA-made Soloist. The guitar has a refinished Blue Burst color over what was originally a Pile ‘o Skulls graphic. We can’t say whether or not the original graphic is still under the paint or has been stripped away. Originally the body was a HSS pickup configuration but the middle pickup has been covered and finished over, you can slightly see the outline. There are two DiMarzio Super Distortion humbuckers – the neck pickup looks like it was colored in black and the color is flaking away. The guitar is wired for two volumes and a master tone control, with a Licensed Floyd Rose bridge that has a recessed cavity. The guitar has dents and dings scattered around, but has tons of vibe and plays nicely. A Jackson case and tremolo arm are included.
