1978 Fender Bronco Original Case

Here we have a very cool 1978 Fender Bronco, a model that has become increasingly collectible in recent years. Originally introduced in the late 1960s as Fenders student model, the Bronco shares much of its DNA with the Mustang but features a distinctive single pickup configuration and simple control layout, giving it a surprisingly punchy and direct tone.

This particular example presents in very good played condition, especially considering it is now over 48 years old. The guitar shows honest cosmetic wear from decades of use, which only adds to its vintage character.

There are some cosmetic marks and general play wear visible around the instrument, most notably on the rear edge of the lower horn where the finish has worn through from playing rather than from a chip or impact. Aside from this, there are a few minor marks across the body consistent with a well-cared-for vintage guitar.

The frets are quite worn and fairly flat, however the guitar still plays cleanly up and down the neck and remains a very enjoyable instrument to play.

Tonally, this Bronco really surprises. Despite its single-coil pickup configuration, it produces a big, lively and punchy sound with plenty of character.

The guitar also comes with its original Fender hard shell case, which is in excellent condition for its age and completes a fantastic vintage Fender package.

A great opportunity to pick up a late-70s Fender with loads of character, vintage vibe and classic short-scale playability.
