At the heart of this guitar’s exceptional tone are the USA-made PRS 58/15 LT (“low turn”) pickups. These pickups are the same ones found on the Core McCarty models, and they offer a sweet, vintage-inspired sound with incredible clarity. Designed to capture the best of both worlds, they blend the sparkle of vintage single-coils with the warmth and richness of late 1950s humbuckers. The neck is crafted from Cuban mahogany, a tonewood known for its exceptional resonance and stability, while the classic combination of a maple top and mahogany back provides the perfect balance of snap and sustain.
