The Story
This guitar comes from Chuck, who attended Rock n Roll Fantasy Camp in New York City in 2006 as a 50th birthday experience. One of the highlights of the week was meeting his guitar hero, Joe Satriani. Joe signed this JS100 during that unforgettable camp at the Gibson Showroom in NYC, where Chuck and other campers got to jam, learn, and soak up the full fantasy camp experience.
Condition
This JS100 is in good condition with honest, light play wear.
-
Light fret wear
-
Fine surface scratches from picks and clothing
-
No deep marks or damage
-
Signature is clean and well preserved
Tremolo note
The tremolo is currently blocked for tuning stability, so it can only lower pitch. If set to float, it does not hold perfect tuning. Many players prefer it blocked, especially for rock and lead work.
Collector appeal
Unsigned JS100s from this era are known as solid workhorses, but Joe Satrianis signature adds a layer of collectibility you do not see every day. It is a fun piece for a Satriani fan, and still a very playable guitar for someone who wants that JS feel in hand.
