All Black Diamond Strings are sealed with Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI). The VCI aligns on thesurfaceof the strings to a depth of 3 to 5 molecules. This layer of molecules passivates the charged surface andcreates a barrier that prevents oxidation.
