The Joyo Ocho is a two octave capable octave pedal. There’s a general level control for your pure sound, then two octaves (1 octave lower, then 2 octaves lower) than be mixed in. Octave pedals are used for thickening up your sound, especially with distortion, that gives it that deep chunk.
