This limited run Custom Shop model was available through a single dealer (Wildwood Guitars), with unique features including a soft V-shaped neck profile, 10 fretboard radius, 6105 narrow/tall fretwire, and a Relic-Ready Faded Lake Placid Blue thin skin nitro lacquer finish.
Weighing 7lbs 5oz, tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece 5/4 quartersawn maple neck. The guitar is currently loaded with a set of Rocketfire single coils (original pickups included), a boutique set designed to faithfully recreate the classic Strat tonalities Fenders golden age. The neck pickup is round and bell-like, and the bridge pickup provides a clear bounce and sparkle, with a RWRP middle pickup for hum-cancelling snap and quack at the “in-between” positions on the five-way switch. The thin skin Faded Lake Placid Blue nitro lacquer gloss finish is designed for both maximum natural resonance and to age and wear more easily. This is a very clean instrument, with just a scant few tiny marks on the body, while the gloss nitro lacquer finish on the neck profile is immaculate.
The original G&G hardshell case is included, along with the COA, hangtags, case candy, and stock Custom Shop pickups.
