With its solid Sitka Spruce top with solid African Mahogany back and sides, the F-40 Standard serves up a robust tonal palette thats perfect for anything from vocal accompaniment to solo work, and many other unplugged applications. Its predecessor, the F-48 Navarre, was only produced from 1972 to 1976 and original versions are a rare treasure. Todays version manifests the same vintage charm with timeless appointments such as a tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard, white ABS binding, and Guilds peak logo inlay on the headstock.
