Ormsbyopted for an African Mahogany body for its overall darker colouring which contrasts perfectly with the black binding and rare Karelian Birch Burl veneer whichthey’ve used on both the body and matching headstock.Ormsby used a 5pce Flame Maple, Padauk and Wenge set neck topped with Birdseye Maple fretboard to set the tone for these awesome instruments. With the mix of materials used, each guitar is truly unique with its own individual markings. The Elite II comes withtheir favourite Blizzard and Concordia pickup combo, along with all the usual things you’d expect to find in our GTR range like our own custom hardware. The Hype GTR Elite II is available in your choice of 6, 7 or 8 string with a white and red ‘Elite’ hardcase included in the price.

• Make any adjustments so the neck is straight to avoid any fret buzzing and for comfort
• Check the nut and nut slots for any adjustments/filing to prevent any tuning issues, as well as for comfort at the lower frets
• Make any adjustments to the bridge/tremolo system so its in the proper position for tuning stability
• Set the action to a height that feels comfortable for each guitar
• Set the intonation so youre in tune everywhere on the neck

All of these steps will make your brand new guitar feel as comfortable as ever and ready to play straight out of the box!
