Created in 1958 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Gretsch, the 6118 Anniversary had an ultra-cool finish straight from that eras Cadillac. Todays model still has it, along dual FilterTron humbucking pickups, Space Control bridge and Bigsby B6C vibrato tailpiece among many other fine features.
This new guitar was born in March of 2016. It is new, was never sold, and still carries the full Gretsch warranty.
This older, but still feisty model, features the often overlooked andunder-appreciatedTrestle bracing they no longer do.
The new and improved lower price reflects this.
