This cabinet builds on the Rectifier 4×12 Slant design by incorporating a dado-joined vertical panel that separates the closed-back and open-back sections. It features a custom-tuned, one-piece rear panel and is loaded with Celestion Vintage 30s on the closed side and exclusive Celestion Custom 90s on the open side, delivering exceptional tonal versatility. Compared to the Rectifier Slant, the Road King offers tighter lows, enhanced midrange, and brighter highs thanks to the open-back influence. Its slant design directs sound upward for a natural monitor effect, ideal for live settings. This cabinet was made from marine-grade Baltic birch, this cabinet gives you clear, and detailed tones unique to MESA Road King 4×12 cabinets.
