The AD27efeatures back & sides of solid Sapele topped with solid Mahogany, a hardwood combination that produces a meaty midrange and even balance across the tonal spectrum. Outfitted with V-Class bracing for additional volume and sustain, the Grand Pacific body shape also brings a seasoned tonal response that evokes the sounds of early acoustic recordings.
Appointments for the AD27e include chamfered body edges, black top purfling, 4mm dot fretboard inlays, a faux tortoiseshell pickguard, and a Urban Sienna stain, all wrapped in a 2.0-mil matte finish. It features built-in ES2 electronics for you can amplify when needed. Included is the super-portable Taylor AeroCase.
The guitar pictured is the one you will receive. This was a new guitar that took a hit, resulting in a slight crack on the back, so we converted it to used and fixed it. The best tech in our shop did the work, and he did a great job! At first glance it’s barely noticeable, especially with the style of wood grain and color. Look closer and you’ll see the vertical line running along the grain. After the work was done, it’s a 100% solid and stable, with no issues. So, if you’re okay with that, this is a great opportunity.
