The D-42 Modern Deluxe blends vintage Martin tone with cutting-edge features like a VTS top, carbon fiber bridgeplate, and an asymmetrical neckwrapped in stunning appointments that make this guitar anything but standard.

The D-42 Modern Deluxe captures the grandeur of Martins Golden Era with exquisite modern refinement. A spruce VINTAGE TONE SYSTEM (VTS) top and Golden Erastyle Adirondack spruce X-bracing deliver the resonant tone of a nearly century-old Martin. Natural protein glue and a carbon-fiber bridge plate increase sustain, while exclusive Liquidmetal bridge pins boost projection. EVO gold frets and a slightly asymmetrical neck ensure comfortable playability, and European flamed-maple binding around the body and fingerboard complements the brilliant pearl bordering on the top, with a pearl torch headplate inlay and Waverly gold open-gear tuners completing the elegant design.
