Charvel Surfcaster 425SLX Bass in Cherry Sunburst finish made in 1992 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a double bound rosewood back & sides body with a figured maple top, mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with a bound/color matched headstock. Equipped with an undersaddle piezo bridge pickup, controlled by bass, middle, treble and volume sliders. The 34″ scale length neck has mother of pearl offset dot inlays and black side markers with 22 jumbo frets on a 14″ radius with a soft V profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Charvel sealed diecast tuning machines with Y-shape heads, a bone nut and a rosewood base bridge w/ compensated bone saddle.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. The belly is bowed slightly near the bridge. The headstock has some small dings, light surface marks and areas of lighter/hazy finish. The neck has some light indentations and discoloration on the binding. The back of the body has some areas of checkered marks that can be seen in direct light. There are a few small dings on the sides of the body. The top has some light surface marks and spots of hazy finish near the bridge. There are some marks around the lower strap button/output jack. Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 45-100 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
