This is the Taylor 417e Grand Pacific with the classic tonewood combination of rosewood and spruce! This is the first time a Grand Pacific has been introduced to the 400 series, and we can’t be happier with the result! New features introduced for 2023 include a gloss Tobacco Sunburst finish, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, multi-ply body binding and a brand new Taylor fretboard inlay design named “Finial”, which are carved of Italian acrylic and inspired by classical flourishes in carpentry and architecture. The round-shoulder dreadnought design pairs beautifully with the classic rosewood/spruce tonewood configuration, yielding a vintage-inspired, blended sound with clear low-end power and notes that overlap into a seamless whole. A warm bass range and crisp trebles resonate around a slightly scooped midrange, while the innovative bracing design coaxes out more power, longer sustain and near-perfect harmony across the fretboard. Each 417e comes with Taylor ES2 electronics and a deluxe brown hardshell case with a western floral motif!
