Snareweight Variety Leather Insert 2-Pack for Damper System
These are the Genuine Leather Variety Inserts for use with Snareweight #5. Six options of dampening. Choose a thin or thick leather insert to quickly dial in the dampening of your favorite snare sound. Also, try using two inserts side by side creating more surface area contact on the head to target the unmusical ring of your snare. Remember you can turn the insert over as well to the metal side for less dampening. Worn-in inserts always sound better.
About The Snareweight Damper System
The Snareweight Damper System is the fastest way to get your snare drum sounding its best. Made of solid brass, a strong neodymium magnet (to removably secure to your rim), and interchangeable leather inserts that help shape your sound- it will be the most loyal little buddy in your ever-changing stick bag.
The other feature that is sweet about Snareweight is that it adds mass to your drum head which helps to evenly smooth the lower-mid ringing frequencies that can’t be reached with other methods. The high-frequency unwanted ring is shaped by the chosen insert. Keeping all the frequencies present and level across the board will bring out the true tone of your drum shell for a smoother and richer sound.
