This late-19th-century open-back banjo features a spun-over 11″ maple rim with 30 bracket hooks. Built by John C. Haynes & Co. in Boston under the Bay State name this model 325 has a maple neck with an ebony fingerboard. Appointments include pearl inlay work on the peghead and fingerboard. After a new head and other work this will make for a nice nylon strung banjo for classic playing styles. Project grade. NO CASE. Made in USA.
