The EVH 5150 Iconic 80W is a two-channel, all-tube head that distills Edward Van Halen’s legendary tone into a gig-ready platform loaded with modern features. Four 6L6GC power tubes push 80 watts (switchable to 20 watts for quarter-power operation) through a circuit that delivers everything from crisp, dynamic cleans and classic crunch to thick, face-melting high-gain saturation. Channel 2 features a built-in noise gate for tight, articulate staccato playing, while a footswitchable solo boost with dedicated volume control makes stepping out for leads effortless. A speaker-emulated XLR output with ground lift and a power amp mute switch round out a feature set built for both stage and studio.
This example is in excellent condition, with just a few dark spots in the tolex showing use (see photos). Includes original 2-button footswitch.
