Agathe Backer Grndahl is primarily known as an accomplished Norwegian pianist, but her brilliant compositions have received little attention to date. The fairytale suite I Blaafjellet (In the Blue Mountain), Op. 44, consists of six virtuoso piano movements of great originality and beauty, inspired by Norwegian mythical creatures. First-ever Urtext edition, edited by Christian Grvlen, following the original 1896 edition, which was out of print for many years.
