Gibson Custom Shop CJ-165 Skull & Cross Bones in Ebony finish made in 2007 with Original Hard Shell Case. This acoustic guitar features a mini jumbo double bound figured maple back & sides body with a solid sitka spruce top, maple neck with walnut stringer and bound Ebony fingerboard with a mother of pearl skull and bones inlay headstock. Equipped with an LR.Baggs Element under the saddle pickup and controlled by one master volume. The 24.75″ scale length neck has mother of pearl skull and cross bones inlays and black side markers with 20 medium jumbo frets on a 12″ radius with a rounded profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Grover Mini-Rotomatic tuning machines with mini kidney bean heads, a bone nut, an Ebony Base bridge with synthetic Compensated Saddle and a double 2-ply black pickguard with abalone rosette.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with some signs of play and age. It has light finish check throughout the instrument, some of it follows the figured maple grain on body and the necks stringer. It has surface marks, some light scratches, a few light dings / dimples and some binding shrinkage finish splits. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 12-53 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case and Original Case Candy.
