If you thought Esquire’s were one-trick ponies, let this Jason Smith Masterbuilt ’53 Stealth Esquire prove you wrong! Built in 2018, the guitar has an extremely light weight of only 6 lbs, 3 oz. thanks to the roasted ash and quartersawn maple wood. The volume control serves to control the Super Esquire wiring via a push-pull. When down, the pickup is controlled by the volume and tone. When up, the controls are disengaged and the pickup goes straight to the output jack or two different tone caps in positions 2 and 3. If you want to wrangle the best Tele tones you could think of out of a single guitar, this Esquire is it! The original case and COA are included with Shop Traveler.
