Grover Musical Products, Inc., established in 1952, traces its origins to the 1922 founding of Grossman Brothers Music Company in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1949, Grossman acquired Trophy Plastics, later rebranding it as Trophy Music Company, and began manufacturing educational and novelty instruments, including the iconic Flutophone, which has sold over 50 million units worldwide. The company expanded further by acquiring A.D. Grover & Son, a late-1800s innovator of musical instrument parts, including guitar and banjo machine heads. This acquisition led to the development of the renowned enclosed Rotomatic tuners. In 1955, Grossman purchased Rogers Drums, introducing notable products like the Dyna Sonic snare drum and Swiv-o-Matic hardware. Today, Grover Musical Products encompasses brands such as Grover, Trophy Music Co., and The Clevelander Drum Company, offering a wide range of musical accessories and instruments.
