Gibson Country Western Acoustic Guitar in Natural 1956

Original price was: $5,999.00.Current price is: $146.00.

SKU: HRJH30233680868 Category:

The Country Western is essentially a natural finished Southern Jumbo or a fancier J-50. Some say that Gibson used better quality spruce tops for natural finishes as opposed to the sunburst finishes. It features the split parallelogram inlays, same as the Southern Jumbo, and a larger pickguard. This guitar is all original to my knowledge with exception of the tuners.

Condition: Very good for it’s age. Numerous scratches and dings on the body, neck and headstock. The sound hole has a slightly sunk in the top. In the past, the bridge was lifting and was reattached using the original bridge. The bracing looks like it’s been reglued in the past and back bracing looks like it may have shrunk a bit. The finish on the back of the neck has worn off as well. The tuners button have been replaced. It comes with a very nice molded black case. The guitar sounds great and plays really well.
