As we where designing this wood library run we decided to take this DGT to another level with incredible satin finish, Gorgeous Flame Maple 10 tops, and a traditional choice of lightweight mahogany back/neck combo for a stunning look and rich tonal pallete.

Semi-Hollow, Fully Alive
For me, the DGT Semi-Hollow has been a super versatile companion to my solidbody DGTs. The semi-hollow design has a bit warmer top end, a little less bottom than the solid body, and I can get more controlled feedback. Im glad its officially joining the PRS lineup after a couple successful limited runs.
David Grissom
The DGT Semi-Hollow is based off one of David Grissoms personal Private Stock guitars. It carries all the core features players love about the PRS Core DGT, including the wood selection, 22 frets, 25 scale length, the signature DGT neck shape, and jumbo frets, while adding the unique character of a semi-hollow body.
Equipped with custom-voiced DGT pickups and dual volume controls and push/pull tone control, this model delivers a versatile, vintage-inspired voice. The semi-hollow construction enhances resonance and dynamics, giving the instrument a lively, open tone.
Born from more than 20 years of collaboration between PRS Guitars and David Grissom, the DGT (David Grissom Trem) remains a masterfully refined evolution of the PRS McCarty: a players guitar built for pure expression.
