It features a full-thickness mahogany body (60mm / 2 3/8), strategically weight relieved. It is built at classic 24.75 scale using set-thru construction for smooth access to the higher frets, using a three-piece thin U-shaped mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo Jescar stainless steel frets and mother-of-pearl split-flag inlays.
The Eclipse USA can be personalized with choices in finishes, top woods (solid color, flamed maple, or quilted maple), pickups, and hardware. Built to go beyond the highest standards in custom guitar design, the Eclipse USA offers only the best in components and build materials. It includes a custom ESP USA form-fitting hardshell case, and an official Certificate of Authenticity from ESP.
