The Kluson Sealfast tuning machines have tight tolerances between the size of the mounting screw O.D. and the I.D. of the mounting screw holes. We recommend that before installing these tuning machines on your instrument that you run the mounting screw through the mounting hole and then back it out. This will enable the screw to more easily pass through the brass mounting hole eyelet for smooth installation.
